Photography and Plastic Art in terms of Freedom of Expression in Yemen
The event hosted two important Yemeni experiences in this topic, one of them has a long history in creative photography, namely, Abdulrahman Al-Ghabri and the other is a youth experience in plastic art of the youth artist Ghada Al-Hadad.
In his paper entitled '' The Photo is the Hero'', Mr. Abdulrahman Al-Ghabri showed his long creative experience in photography over forty years discussing through it his experiences in photography, and the experiences related to this field as well as some points of view around photography on one hand and freedom of expression on the other.
Then, Ghada Al-Hadad presented particularly his experience as a woman and plastic artist and how her life was involved from her childhood with freedom of expression and her interest in avoiding shock with the community and politics. She also discussed her freedom in travel as a woman, the access right to information or the privacy right which all were around freedom of expression. She also presented a group of recommendations on freedom of recommendation
