Yemeni press, cultural press and freedom of speech
Damanat Foundation implemented the event of Yemeni Press, Cultural Press and Freedom of Speech within the Freedom Forum established by Damanat Foundation for Rights and freedoms with Cultural Resource within the activities of local and Regional Initiatives and Projects in the field of cultural politics.
The fifth event hosted two Yemeni experiences related to the freedom of speech issues. The experiences of Mr. Ahmed Alarami and Dr. Mona Almahageri, Head of Shahrazad cultural Foundation.
Mr Ahmed presented his personal experience with the freedom of speech either in his academic work or in his work in the Yemeni press.
In her paper Dr. Mona Almahaqeri presented some experiences she faced during her work in Aroos Al-Yemen Journal in relation to freedom of speech issues, during the period of journal publication.
