In March 2014, Damanat Foundation for the rights and freedoms is implemented the effectiveness of the workshop on the right of expression hosted by Radio of Yemen Times in cooperation with the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ). The workshop was attended by the radio crew and guests interested in the right to express with 20 participants

This workshop is part of the training course that the Foundation received from the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ)

The Foundation reviewed the importance of the right to expression in development and opened the way for young people to work in fields related to or affected by the right to expression such as creative industries and the development of knowledge, literature, culture and art

This comes in light of the Foundation's interest in the right of expression as one of the important rights in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR).
