On Saturday, November 9th, 2013, in collaboration with Ebhar Foundation for Childhood and Creativity, Damanat Foundation has hosted the activities of the 2nd meeting of intellectual property rights that focus on the importance of incorporating a constitutional article on the intellectual property rights in the Yemeni Constitution. The event was attended by a number of the activists working in local and international NGOs in addition to the creative people and trainers, especially women.
Mr. Ahmed Ba’alasi, the Foundation’s executive manager added that this project aims at conducting 3 meetings that involve different segments like the independent journalists, activists, representatives of civil society, writers and creative people to introduce the importance of integrating a constitutional article on intellectual property rights as per the recommendations of the rights and freedoms team in the NDC.
It is worth mentioning that Damanat Foundation for Rights and Freedoms is a non-governmental organization that is working to promote the protection of rights and freedoms in Yemen and their practice on the ground
